Father Alric Vendril was the First Sage of the Yellow Rose — a senior member of the Order and one of Mistress Clarissa Allyson's oldest friends and confidants. Gaunt and silver-haired, he looked more spirit than man, his face deeply lined with age and sorrow. He wore a simple, threadbare robe marked with the faded emblem of a sunburst and carried a battered iron rosary, the beads worn smooth by decades of prayer. Despite his frail frame, there was a quiet strength about him — a light that had not yet surrendered to the dark. His healing magic had faded over the years, limited to cantrips and lesser prayers, but his faith and wisdom remained steadfast. He was killed by Kaelin Stormraven during Session 04 at the Old Church near the West Road.

Alric's oldest student and close friend. Clarissa's torn missive addressed him as "my old friend" and entrusted him as the final guardian of the Key after Valls fell.

Alric's killer. Kaelin disguised herself as a lost child and, once inside the Old Church, slit his throat without warning during Session 04.

Brennor sheltered at the Old Church alongside Alric with survivors from Valls. After Alric's death, Brennor took command of the remaining survivors.

Alric was deeply suspicious of Lady Williams and shared critical intelligence about her with the party before his death — her knowledge of the Citadel's sealed chambers, her influence over Lord Williams, and the power he sensed behind her.
