The party had just walked out of the Blue Water Inn after the tense encounter with Lady Williams when Ireena came charging up the street with weapons drawn and a small group behind her. She was ready for a fight and wanted to know what had happened. After it was clear that the party had agreed to her deal, everyone just sort of accepted it. Fiona and the others had already started going through the occult books, trying to find anything that might help. Ireena said she would keep an eye on them, and Korith handed her a sending stone so the party could stay in contact. She was going to stay and keep an eye on Fiona. Among the assorted people was , Luvash of the Tser Hill Vistani. He thanked them for saving his daughter, then pulled Krutha into a hard bear hug. He agreed to lead the part to the encampment since they were heading that way. As they got closer, they saw smoke rising over the hill. By the time they reached the camp, it was already under attack. The settlement was burning and being overrun by Patchwork Goblins, with Vasilka leading the assault. The whole place had turned into chaos. Vistani were scrambling to defend wagons as they fell back to the top of the hill, pull people clear of the fires, and keep the children alive while the patchwork goblins kept pushing uphill. The party didn't hesitate and jumped right into the fray.. As Merrick blinked into the clearing the kids from the Tser Pool Vistani recognized him and he saw a look of relief on their face.. Along the northern side of Tser Hill, Dagger, Brother Ivan, and Greg were attempting to hold the line.. Well Gregor and Ivan were, Dagger was doing arts and craft making flame tipped arrows. Kruth and Korith moved West along the southern edges of the Hill to deal with that flank. But it was quickly apparent that if they were greatly out numbered by the patchwork Goblins and Direwolves. As Thorian moved to join Merrik after taking flight, they tried to turn the fight with a massive wall of water, aiming to break the goblin charge and put out the burning buildings. For a second it looked like it might work. Then Vasilka reached out, took control of the spell, and hurled the water back over the defenders on the hilltop. The wave crashed down over the party and the Vistani camp. Thorian threw himself in front of the three children and shielded them from the worst of it. Merrick slipped away at the last second, blinking to safety. When the water settled, the whole hillside had become a muddy mess and an erie calm over the battle as everyone begin to pick themselves up to continue the fight…
