Lord Edmund Williams was a Damaran nobleman and the Lord of Valls — a childhood friend of King Frostmantle and Mistress Clarissa Allyson. He was a good man whose mind was corrupted by the succubus Lyzara'Nualith after she entered his household in the guise of Elysra Nivariel. His first wife, Lady Meagana Williams, was slowly poisoned by Lyzara while she was in Meagana's employ. As Meagana wasted away, Lyzara comforted Edmund and corrupted his mind, eventually marrying him. Many suspected Elysra had a hand in Meagana's death, but none dared say so within earshot of Lord Williams. He was ultimately murdered by his own wife when she needed to seize control of Valls and access the vaults and records beneath the Citadel of the Yellow Rose, which Clarissa had been blocking.

Edmund's second wife. The succubus Lyzara'Nualith poisoned his first wife Meagana, corrupted his mind during his grief, married him, and ultimately murdered him to gain control of Valls.

Childhood friend. Edmund, Clarissa, and King Frostmantle grew up together at court. Clarissa tried to protect the Citadel's secrets from Lady Williams but could not break through Edmund's corrupted loyalty.
