Luvash Vanduva is the head of the Vanduva family and a leader of the Tser Hill Vistani. He is a large, boisterous man — talks with his hands, big reactions, quick to clasp a shoulder, slam a table, or go quiet all at once when emotion catches him. The players first encountered Luvash at the Blood of the Vine Inn in the Village of Barovia, where he was desperately searching for his daughter Arabelle, who had been kidnapped by the hags of Old Bonegrinder. After the adventurers rescued Arabelle, Luvash and his wife Sorina rushed to their daughter as soon as they received a letter from Ireena. Luvash publicly thanked the party in Vallaki — not quietly either — a deliberate statement showing his hand. His sister Nadara was married to one of the Tser Pool Vistani and died in the Massacre of Tser Pool. He is furious at Strahd for his betrayal.

Luvash's brother. While Luvash is the public heart of the camp, Arrigal turns grief into plans. Luvash trusts Arrigal completely, unaware that Arrigal secretly reports to Strahd.

Luvash's daughter. Kidnapped by the Bonegrinder hags and rescued by the adventurers. Luvash and his wife Sorina rushed to Arabelle as soon as they received Ireena's letter. Her safe return changed how the whole camp sees the party.

Madam Eva is the spiritual leader of the Vistani. Luvash respects her authority.

Luvash is furious at Strahd for his betrayal. His sister died in the Massacre of Tser Pool.

Morgantha and her coven kidnapped Luvash's daughter Arabelle from the Vistani camp.
