Emil Toranescu is the current Den Leader of the Barovian werewolf packs — a respected warrior and shaman who took leadership after the packs expelled Kiril Stoyanovich. She does not want to continue the war with humans, having lost too many loved ones already, but feared to betray Strahd and his emissary Elandra Stormraven knowing it would mean death for her people and her young son Jiro.

Emil's late mate. Zuleika was the former Den Leader who was assassinated by Elandra Stormraven and Strahd's guard.

Kiril was expelled from the Den and Emil replaced him as leader. Kiril views her as a weak usurper.

Emil fears Strahd but hopes the adventurers can defeat him and give the packs a chance at peace.

Emil's mother-in-law. Kiara serves as Den Mother and made a deal with the players on behalf of the Den.

Emil's father-in-law. Protective of the family and the Den.

Emil's young son. She would do anything to protect him.

Elandra was Strahd's emissary to the Den. She ordered Emil to attack the Wizard's Tower and kill the people there.
