Sarkov E'Tressa is the co-owner of the Blood of the Vine Inn in the Village of Barovia. A broad-shouldered, silent man in his late 40s, Sarkov communicates entirely through gestures and steady presence — his tongue was cut out for speaking against Strahd. Originally from the Tser Hill Vistani, Sarkov and his wife Luna gave up the Travel when they married and settled in the village as innkeepers, their views no longer aligned with the caravan's deference to Strahd.

Sarkov's wife. Luna speaks for them both since Sarkov lost his tongue. They gave up the Vistani traveling life together when they married.

Sarkov's widowed aunt who handles cooking at the inn. Fiercely protective of her nephew.

Strahd had Sarkov's tongue cut out for speaking against the vampire lord's will. This act of cruelty drove Sarkov and Luna to abandon their Vistani caravan.
